Deliver All the Features Needed at the Converged Access Edge in a Complete and Cost-Effective Packet-Based Solution

The LoopStar® 700 Ethernet product family allows carriers and service providers to cost-effectively aggregate, deploy and manage Ethernet and TDM services for a broad range of customer applications. This portfolio of Ethernet multi-service access solutions is optimized for whatever type of network facility is available or as the most cost-effective solution for a particular customer application.

LoopStar 700 available network interfaces include: NxT1/E1, DS3, NxDS3, OC3c/STM1, OC12c/STM4, 100FX, and GigE, as well as drop side (tributary) interfaces of DS1, 10/100 BT, 100FX and GigE. The LoopStar 700 family also provides an industry-leading solution for Pseudo Wire (PWE3) T1/E1/J1 circuit emulation transport, making it economical for business applications or cell site backhaul which require both Ethernet and TDM over a single network service or private network facility. The LoopStar 700 product family offers an extensive solutions portfolio to meet customers' varied requirements. It includes:

  • LoopStar 780 - cost-effective transport of voice and data across a packet-based infrastructure
  • LoopStar 750 - four interface slots for large customers or aggregation
  • LoopStar 722 - mix of expandable and fixed ports scales from small to large customer sites
  • LoopStar 712 - ideally suited for extending Ethernet and TDM services to single and small customer locations
  • LoopStar 711 - leveraging a full suite of Ethernet and TDM services to cost-effectively utilize fiber networks
  • LoopStar 745 and 745P - higher speed Ethernet and multi-services over DS3
