Product Name:   ATMIV - ATM to IP Interworking Controller

The ATMIV-AMC card is a high-performance AdvancedTCA Mezzanine Controller designed for use in all aspects of telecommunications networks. The ATMIV includes support for ATM host termination, switching and L2/L3/L4 or higher interworking between gigabit Ethernet interfaces and ATM interfaces. With support for AAL2 and AAL5, the ATMIV has the ability for real-time voice and video over AAL2, as well as signaling and IP over AAL5 in 3G networks. The ATMIV is ideal for demanding carrier applications in Wireless 2G, 3G, IMS, FMC and Next Generation Networks. Adax’s third generation of highly reliable ATM broadband signaling controllers are now available. ATMIII-PMC offers enhanced ATM to IP Interworking, full OC3 switching between two (2) ATM ports, as well at two (2) GbE ports one of which may be directed to either network or host bus. This new functionality improves termination and switching capabilities, enabling carriers to support both broadband ATM and IP applications simultaneously. Combined with Adax’s comprehensive SIGTRAN and lower layer software, the ATMIII facilitates the interworking and transition of bearer and signaling data to IP core networks. The ATM cards are available for PCI, cPCI, PMC and AMC formats
