Product Name:   XR239 EFM Repeater

The Actelis XR239 EFM Repeater is the first repeater for 2Base-TL Ethernet in the First Mile systems. Used with Actelis Carrier Ethernet over Copper equipment, the repeaters extend the reach of high capacity Ethernet to cover over 98% of loop lengths. The repeaters can be linked together used to increase the reach of Carrier Ethernet over Copper services up to 27 miles. The repeaters are fully standards and spectrally compliant.

Actelis’ Carrier Ethernet over Copper equipment already delivers the best performance over bonded EFM copper links. Actelis’ patented EFMplus uses advanced signal processing to obtain the greatest rate and reach performance over voice grade copper cabling. Actelis EFMplus delivers up to 5.7 Mbps per pair, and over 45 Mbps over an 8 pair bonded link, over distances up to 3,000 ft.

The XR239 is designed for deployment in the Central Office our outside plant in a standard 239 mechanical enclosure. Within the CO, the repeater can quickly be deployed in existing electrical facilities. For outside plant deployment, the XR 239 has an environmentally hardened enclosure that supports a variety of field installations, including pole or building mounts. Both models are line powered from a remote power feeding unit and have no additional electrical or cooling requirements.
